THE PRESS

Fantastic experience with Bloodstone getting second piercing in my lobe. The lady who did the piercing was really professional and helpful in explaining the procedure and also aftercare. Everything was sterilizsed and hygienic. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here if considering a piercing. Thank you.

Tattoo Client

Extremely happy with the work completed. Friendly and professional staff. They help you turn your idea into something worth having on your body. After care advice was really great and it's the best healing tattoo I've had. Currently on week 3 of healing and there has been very little itching or flaking. Will be going back for my next piece when the time comes

FAQ

  • How do i book an appointment?
"Once you have selected your preferred artist(s), please initiate the booking process using one of the following methods: • Visit our Studio: You are welcome to discuss your requirements in person at our shop. • Website Booking Form: Complete the booking enquiry form available on our website. • Direct Artist Contact: Contact your chosen artist directly using the social media link found in their online portfolio. To ensure we can process your request efficiently and accurately capture your vision, please include a detailed description of the proposed design, any relevant photo references, and your preferred dates for scheduling the appointment. For clients interested in large-scale work, such as back pieces or sleeves, we offer a specialised service called "Project Bookings". Further details regarding this process are available via the link below."
  • How old do i have to be to get work done?
Age Requirements for Tattoos & Piercings Valid photographic ID (Passport, Driving Licence) is required to verify age for all clients. Tattooing: • You must be 18 or older. It is illegal in Northern Ireland to tattoo minors (under 18), even with parental consent. Proof of age is mandatory. Body Piercing/Modification: • 18+ is required for tongue, nipple, genital, and other intimate/complex piercings. Proof of age needed. • For 16 and 17-year-olds: You may consent to certain standard piercings, but you must bring a parent or legal guardian with you. Your parent/guardian must have valid photo ID. • Under 16s: Limited piercing services may be available (e.g., earlobes). A parent/legal guardian with valid photo ID must be present and provide consent. Please enquire directly for details.
  • How much do your services cost?
Tattoo Pricing Starting Point: Our studio minimum charge for any tattoo is £60. Custom Work: The final price for custom tattoos varies based on several factors: • Size and complexity of the design. • Placement on the body. • The specific artist chosen (as individual rates may differ). • Getting a Quote: For an accurate price estimate on your custom tattoo idea, please submit an enquiry form via our website or contact your preferred artist directly. Provide as much detail as possible, including design description, size/placement ideas, and reference images. • Flash Designs: Many of our artists offer pre-designed 'flash' tattoos. These are available at set prices as advertised on our site. You can view available flash designs via the link below. Body Modification & Piercing Pricing • A detailed price list for all standard body modification and piercing services is available via the link below.
  • Do you require a deposit when booking?
Yes. A minimum deposit of £40 is required to make an appointment with full day sits requiring £100 to secure a spot. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and will be applied to the final price of your tattoo.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
We are a CASH ONLY studio, when purchases are made in story. We do accept PayPal payments (under "Friends and family") for things like deposits. But on the day of your tattoo, we require cash. Our artists are independent contractors, so there is no way for us to divide up transactions of a different nature.
  • How do i prepare for my tattoo session?
Preparing for Your Tattoo Appointment To ensure a comfortable session and optimal results, please: Eat Well & Hydrate: Have a good meal before arriving and drink plenty of water. Feel free to bring a sugary drink or snack, as this can help if you feel lightheaded. Lack of food/water can cause unnecessary stress and increase the chance of feeling unwell. Do Not Shave: Please leave skin preparation (including shaving) to your artist immediately before the tattoo begins. Numbing Products: Do not apply any numbing creams/solutions beforehand unless specifically discussed and approved by your artist. Some products interfere with the tattooing process and healing. Your artist may refuse service if unapproved numbing agents are used. Please consult your artist well in advance if you wish to discuss numbing options. Avoid Alcohol: Refrain from consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Alcohol increases bleeding, which can dilute ink pigments and negatively affect the tattoo's appearance and healing. Relax: Try to stay calm and remember you're in experienced hands. We'll guide you through the process.
  • How do i care for my new tattoo?
Every artist has their own recommended care methods. You will be given instruction's on the day of your tattoo. Alternatively, you can refer to the below link for our studio recommended aftercare advice.
  • Does it hurt?
Yes! But in the best possible way. Your brain releases endorphins when you go through pain and your body loves endorphins, so yes, it hurts, but you’ll kinda like it.
